Shehnaaz Gill Gives Witty Response On Ranveer Singh's NUDE Photoshoot, Says ‘Wo Pehli Post Like Ki Instagram Pe’
Ranveer Singh has been hitting the headline ever since his nude photoshoot for Paper magazine went viral on the internet. Complaints have been filed against him, debates are conducted on news channels, and netizens have trolled him. Every celebrity is questioned about their view on Singh and his photoshoot at any event they are spotted. Many actors like Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Alia Bhatt, director Ram Gopal Varma, Vidya Balan, and Sonu Sood have spoken in his favour. Now joining the bandwagon is an internet sensation, Shehnaaz Gill.

Bigg Boss fame Shehnaaz Gill, in a candid interaction, with Connect FM Canada was quizzed if she got any chance to tell Ranveer Singh about his nude photo shoot, what would she say. Gill promptly replied, and said that she had never liked any post of his on Instagram earlier, however, Singh’s nude photo was the first post she liked. She was quoted saying, “apki Instagram mein maine kabhi post like nahi ki. Wo pehli post like ki.”

Meanwhile, the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor appeared at Chembur Police station on August 29, 2022, to record his statement regarding the FIR filed against him. He was questioned for two hours at the police station. As per the ETimes, the actor in his statement mentioned that he never uploaded controversial pictures and was not aware that his nude photo shoot would create trouble for him. 

Earlier in July, FIR was filed after the complaint was registered by an NGO alleging that the actor’s photoshoot hurt the sentiments of women and insulted their modesty. As per the complainant, the ‘Befikre’ actor should be charged under various sections of IPC (Indian Penal Code) like 292 (sale of obscene books, etc), 293 (sale of obscene objects to young people), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and provisions of the Information Technology Act for the photo shoot.
